Bio

Phoenix based singer/songwriter Cameo Hill has been performing her dynamic blend of acoustic pop in local coffeehouses and bars since 1995. Her musical roots stem from a childhood growing up in Hawaii listening to her dad and grandpa play guitar. After her father taught her a D chord on his old Harmony, she began developing her own style of rhythmic guitar playing inspired by artists such as Jim Croce and John Mellencamp.

Cameo has crafted a diverse set of original songs about love, friendship, and social consciousness. Her musical style has been likened to artists such as Ani DiFranco and Jack Johnson. Most at home on stage, she draws audiences into each song with her raw emotion and leaves them smiling with her down-to-earth personality and light-hearted sense of humor.
